The Sheng Kee Bakery is holding a contest to design a Mother's Day poster.

Your assignment this week is to make a poster for the contest.

You could win money or a gift certificate...and lots of people might see your winning entry!

Steps:

• The rules say that "artwork must be drawn by the contestants only," which means that you have to create the artwork yourself. Keep that in mind.

• Begin by looking at a bunch of Mother's Day posters for ideas (search Google or Yahoo). You can't use someone else's design, but you can make something like it.

• Make a sketch in pencil and get my signature. 

• After that, make your poster in Photoshop. Make it 24 inches x 36 inches x 300 dots per inch (7,200 x 10,800 pixels). 

• Save your finished poster twice: once as a Photoshop file and once as a PNG to turn in.
