Make a page that links your other pages together, like this:
Here's how to do that:
1. Make a logo for yourself like the Mr. Foster's Page logo with Photoshop.
The dimensions I have traditionally used for my web page logos are 600 x 300 or 600 x 600 pixels; yours doesn't have to be exactly that size, but it shouldn't be much bigger than that.
2. Put all of your other pages in folders, if they aren't already, to make room for this new page on your computer.
3. Make a new page with Dreamweaver. Save it as index.html. Put your logo at the top.
4. On your page, under the logo, type the names of your pages and make links to those pages. Here's how you do that in Dreamweaver:
(a) Type the name of your famous person page, like this: The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Page
(b) Highlight the name you just typed.
(c) In the Link box below, type the name of the subfolder to your other page, like this, with a slash after (the example below is from my page; yours will be different):
famous/It will also work if you type the folder name without the slash.
Repeat (a-c) above to create the link to your other page(s).
5. Upload your home page and your logo images to your main folder on the server.
6. Open up a browser and navigate to http://mrfoster.info/mm1/yourusername to make sure everything works okay.
