Famous Person Web Page: Research

Choose a person, find three links, some biographical information, and some pictures.

This week, you're going to make a web page about a famous person.  It's going to look something LIKE THIS when you're done.

 

1. Choose your person.

You can make your page about any person you want.

 

2. Find biographical information on that person.

You're going to include a few sentences of biographical information on that person.

When you find it, record the URL (the web address) somehow--write it in your notes or copy and paste it into a word processing document and label it.

 

3. Find three good web sites for that person.

You're going to have three links on your page for people to find out more information about that person.

Again, record the URLs of these links somehow.

 

4. Find a medium-sized picture of that person and save it to your desktop.

Record the URL of that picture somehow.

 

5. Find a medium or large background picture that you think would be appropriate for that person.

Save it to your desktop, and record the URL of that picture somehow.
